Questions We Hear Often
A louvered pergola features a roof made of angled slats — called louvers — that you can open or close to control sunlight, airflow, and shade throughout the day. When open, they invite warm light and gentle breezes; when closed, they provide solid coverage against light rain or harsh afternoon sun. It is one of the most versatile structural additions you can make to an outdoor living space.
Our pergolas are built with reinforced aluminum frames designed to hold up through changing seasons, resisting rust, warping, and weather-related wear over time. With an adjustable louvered roof, you can adapt your space to shifting conditions — from bright summer afternoons to cool autumn evenings — making them a thoughtful investment in year-round outdoor comfort.
Assembly is designed to be manageable as a homeowner project, and most pergolas arrive with the necessary hardware and step-by-step instructions to guide you through the process. We recommend having a second person on hand for lifting and alignment during setup. If you have questions before or during assembly, our team is here to help.
We offer Free Shipping on Most Orders Within the Continental U.S. (Excludes AK/HI), and all pergolas are covered by our 30-Day Return Policy. If something is not right with your order, please refer to our Return Policy page for full details on the process and eligibility.
About Our Pergolas
A pergola is one of the most transformative additions you can make to an outdoor living space. At its core, it is a freestanding or attached overhead structure that defines an area of your yard, patio, or deck — giving it a sense of purpose, shelter, and architectural beauty that open space alone cannot provide. For homeowners who want to spend more meaningful time outdoors, a well-chosen pergola creates a natural gathering point, whether that means a shaded dining area, a quiet reading corner, or a backdrop for evening entertaining around a fire. Modern pergolas — particularly those with adjustable louvered roofs — go further still, allowing you to fine-tune light, shade, and airflow as the day and season change. When choosing one, consider the size of your space, the frame material and its resistance to your local climate, and whether integrated features like drainage systems will serve your lifestyle. A pergola built from quality materials with thoughtful engineering is not simply a structure — it is the foundation of a private retreat you will return to, season after season.
